Dayton Collegiate Academy and School Choice Program
The Dayton Collegiate Academy (DCA) is a selective program that encompasses the development of the intellectual, creative, and socio-emotional growth potential of identified high school gifted students. Eighth graders interested in participating in a challenging learning environment will apply to the accelerated Dayton Collegiate Academy To add rigor to their schedules, the selected cohort of students will be enrolled in advanced placement courses starting their freshmen year. Additional opportunities include the selection of advanced placement courses, academic contests and competitions, interest groups and clubs, academic field trips to New York and abroad, as well as leadership activities.

The Dayton Collegiate Academy 25-26 Application
School choice students enter Jonathan Dayton High School via the Dayton Collegiate Academy selection process. The freshmen year (9thGrade) is the only entry point for Choice Students.
