On behalf of the physical education department, we am excited about the future of our health, physical education and athletic programs.

We study history to learn how we arrived to where we are now; to understand what worked for people in the past, and to attempt not to make mistakes made in the past.

Like science itself, the development of an effective program of science instruction at Jonathan Dayton High School is an ongoing and dynamic process.

We believe that Visual, Performing, & Practical Arts are a necessary component of our lives, a vital contributor to our learning, our well being, and to our existence. It helps us understand the past, helps us develop values, and organize the elements of our lives.

The World Language Department is dedicated to motivating and expanding students’ capacity to speak a foreign language to encourage a competitive attitude in a global society. In order to achieve this goal, the department provides a solid, integral program focusing on speaking, listening, reading and writing in the target language.
